No. The speech engine is installed with RxScribe and runs on the workstation, so the recording is turned into text on the machine in front of you. The audio is held in memory only for as long as transcription takes, is never written to disk, and no copy survives the session.
Neither. The audio is never stored. The transcript exists only while you review the note and is destroyed when you save or discard it. Only the note you have read and approved is retained, on the same terms as any other clinical documentation your pharmacy holds.

RxScribe does not integrate directly. It produces PDF, print and clean plain-text output, so a finished note can be pasted into any system — and it can read a medication list, clinical values or an immunisation history straight off a photograph or a region of your screen, which removes most of the retyping.
