On Your Workstation

The speech engine and language models are installed locally. The consultation is turned into text on the machine in front of you. Audio is held in memory only for as long as transcription takes. It is never written to disk as a file. Pausing releases the microphone outright.

What Leaves

Building the draft note is the only step that doesn’t run locally. What crosses the network boundary is text, not speech — and all identifiers are scrubbed locally before the cloud model reads a single word. Names, health numbers and contact details are stripped out before it leaves.
